ARCANE: The Tree That Remembers
ARCANE isn't just a website, it's a living, breathing digital ritual. It transcends traditional web design to become an immersive, VR-like experience that blends poetic storytelling, advanced 3D rendering, and persistent memory.
The User Journey
When a user enters ARCANE, they don't see a standard webpage. They step into a cinematic prologue: a stark, pitch-black void with film grain and a glowing symbol. A 6-screen poetic narrative plays while heavy 3D assets load invisibly in the background, teaching the user the rules of this world: The tree does not grant wishes. It remembers them.
The user is asked to type their deepest wish and choose a specific date in the future to return. Once sealed, the wish floats upward, blurring and dissolving into the ether like a cloud of smoke. Then they enter a breathtaking, fully rendered 3D environment, a sacred grove with a glowing purple tree at its center, surrounded by floating golden dust and atmospheric fog.
The Technology
- ✦ Persistent Memory Engine: Using deep localStorage architecture, the website tracks the exact timestamp, the text of the wish, and the return date. If the user returns on or after their chosen date, the site greets them: "You Have Returned. The tree remembers your voice."
- ✦ Cinematic 3D Rendering: Powered by Three.js and WebGL with Unreal Engine bloom, organic heartbeat algorithms, 150+ floating particles with sine-wave oscillations, and ACES filmic tone mapping for Hollywood-grade color grading.
- ✦ VR-Like Navigation: Global touch-and-drag spatial engine using mathematically perfect Bézier curve camera arcs, feels like moving through a high-end VR game.
- ✦ Audio-Visual Synchronization: Custom ambient track tied directly to the emotional climax of the ritual.
ARCANE proves that the web browser is capable of delivering the same emotional gravity as a AAA indie video game or an art-house film.
Magic Hate: Album Artwork for Rūḥ
Concept Overview
This haunting album cover visualizes the visceral terror of involuntary transformation captured in "Magic Hate." The design transforms a mysterious figure into a powerful statement about consumption, loss of self, and the curse of underground magic.
Visual Narrative
The glowing blue figure becomes the embodiment of the narrator's ordeal, caught mid-transformation, light violently erupting from within. What was originally an ethereal, mystical moment is recontextualized as agony and erasure. The figure isn't wielding magic; they're being destroyed by it.
Typography and Text Treatment
- ✦ "THIS MAGIC OUT OF ME" dominates the composition, with "Get" and "Me" crossed out in red, representing the narrator's desperate plea being silenced, overwritten by the magic itself.
- ✦ "CURSED BY THIS MAGIC" anchors the bottom, the final truth of the transformation.
- ✦ Dark blue/black palette evokes the Underground's oppressive atmosphere.
- ✦ "Nature of the Magic" text blocks frame the scene like clinical observations, cold documentation of something deeply personal and traumatic.
The design captures the core horror: exposure without salvation. The beautiful blue light that surface dwellers might call miraculous is revealed as destruction.
We Build Brands People Remember
Our brand film showcases the full spectrum of motion design capabilities, from conceptual storytelling to cinematic execution. It demonstrates how we transform complex brand challenges into clear, memorable visual narratives.
The Story
The film opens with a ChatGPT-style interface where a user types: "why people forget my business...??" The AI responds with red glitch text highlighting the problems: NO PURPOSE, POOR BRANDING, NO STRATEGY, LACK OF VISION.
Then, the mascot appears, a simple wave that triggers a transformation. Red drains away instantly, replaced by a premium blue gradient. The screen reveals the solution: BRAND DEVELOPMENT through brand films, identity systems, and strategic thinking.
The film culminates with the promise: "We build brands people remember." Followed by the WYRM.STUDIOS wordmark and the tagline: "Step by step, we make your brand shine."
